The Source Audit is undertaken at the client's location and is conducted at an Enterprise, Divisional or Departmental level. The primary objective of this service is to obtain a holistic view of what sources are currently being used within an organisation.

Dependent on security clearance and network access, a range of diverse questionnaires, interviews, network analytics and data models are employed to achieve this.

The Source Audit is performed in preparation of the Source Benchmarking exercise and provides a basis to go on to examine the source collection plan and determine if the appropriate balance of sources is being used. Making recommendations later as part of an overall Intelligence Strategy can only be achieved by having a clear picture of the sources being used by an organisation today.
